Adrian Welch

Adrian Welch was born in Kincardineshire, Scotland and attended school in Scotland from 1975 to 1989. He completed his Architecture degree in 1992, attending Manchester University.
Later Adrian attended The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, where he secured a Diploma in Architecture.
He has worked for a number of high profile practices such as Eva Jiricna, Sir Terence Conran, Richard Murphy, RMJM and Sutherland Hussey – in London, Hong Kong, Edinburgh, Manchester, Cambridge, Kuwait and Dubai, including working as one of the three Project Interior Architects on the Stirling Prize-winning Scottish Parliament Building by EMBT/RMJM.
Since February 2018, Adrian worked in Dubai at GAJ, mainly as the Project Architect on a Dubai skyscraper project for Emaar. The G+44 building is composed of 587 branded apartments and 122 hotel keys, with F&B at lower levels. This project, titled Dubai Creek Harbour Hotel and Residences, is currently under construction.
Since January 2021 Adrian has assisted an Associate Partner in developing Concept Design for a 115,000sqm Najdi residential development in Riyadh.
Previously he worked in Kuwait, from November 2016, at Pace as a Project Manager and Project Architect, running a mixed-use Bahrain development and a pair of towers in Kuwait City.
