Wavegarden Scotland

Where Giants Roam has been involved in Wavegarden Scotland from the start of the project. Once built, Scotland’s first inland surf destination will be located at Craigpark Quarry near Ratho and will provide an indoor/ outdoor sport and leisure facility which includes a surf school, land-based activities, surf shop, café and restaurant and accommodation in the form of bothys, pods and lodges within it’s 48,500m2.

Where Giants Roam has collaborated with many of the partners involved in the project including the owners, Tartan Leisure Limited, landscape architects Harrison Stevens and design studio Storey + Co to create a range of images and virtual reality experiences which showcase the proposed development. Our work has been used for planning, investment, and marketing purposes.

Wavegarden Scotland will be open to the public in 2022.
