Three established creative studios in Glasgow’s Merchant City have joined forces to launch a fully funded studio-based residency programme for like-minded startups.

Graven, Spreng Thomson and Threesixty Architecture are the driving forces behind Wilson’s Foundry, a four-month programme supporting entrepreneurs to build successful businesses.

Open to new and existing businesses looking to develop novel products or services the initiative will embed successful applicants within the three studios, each offering mentorship in bringing their ideas to market.

The initiative includes access to design workshops to test out ideas, coaching, digital visualisation assistance, prototyping tools, help with branding and communications, and financial planning advice.

Stefano Faiella, founder of Threesixty Architecture, added: “Whether you need help with designing your proposition, building models, creating a brand, producing video or podcasts, Wilson’s Foundry can open these doors to help you transform your ideas into sustainable business propositions.”

The programme is being delivered in partnership with Glasgow City Innovation District, a UK government-funded model for bolstering the city’s tech, digital, engineering, and creative economy.
